Helping our clients create projects which meet the highest environmental standards has long been a focus for us. Our ability to deliver these complex projects is ensured by the Ecologically Sustainable Design (ESD) team, part of our in-house specialist group, Lend Lease design.

Ecologically sustainable design (ESD) is a rapidly growing, increasingly relevant issue to which the property industry, and our clients must adapt. It is also very complex, demanding a high degree of collaboration to capture synergies and ensure integration for cost effectiveness and operational simplicity.

To ensure the highest standards of ESD in the projects we create, Bovis Lend Lease was a founding member of the Green Building Council of Australia (GBCA). One hundred of our employees are registered as Green Star Accredited Professionals and possess a comprehensive understanding of the GBCA’s Green Star rating system, both in terms of content and its practical application to design and construction projects.

As a leader in this field, Bovis Lend Lease is fully committed to creating sustainable places for our clients, and to providing the in-house expertise to facilitate this. A high level of technical knowledge and project experience is required to produce solutions that achieve measurable outcomes.

Lend Lease Design’s range of skills and depth of knowledge give us the ability to think holistically and to perform detailed analyses. To deliver the best solution, we combine local understandings with an international perspective and our experience supports all development phases, from project definition through to construction, occupancy and verification.

Our ESD services can be tailored to suit the client’s aspirations and the opportunities that each project offers. Services may include:
performance benchmarking
project peer review
energy, thermal and daylight modelling
materials eco efficiency assessments
workshop development and facilitation
technical support and advice for successful implementation of recommendations.
